Our Easy Family Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe
Oct 01, 2025
This is one of our favorite Christmas cookies, and this year we turned it into a Halloween cookie too.
We understand that not everyone can eat peanut butter, so if you have to use another nut or seed butter, we understand. Please note that if you do that, you may have to adjust your flour to get the optimal consistency and the sugar level for taste.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
For this recipe we use:
1 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tbs milk
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
Combine butter and peanut butter in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly. Add sugar and brown sugar gradually. Cream thoroughly. Add the beaten eggs and milk and mix until fully combined.
You can drop by rounded teaspoons on a cookie sheet and press lightly with a fork to flatten out, or you can press through a cookie press into shapes, although you may need to add an extra table spoon or two of flour to get the proper consistency for the cookie press.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Cookies will still be slightly soft when you remove them from the oven.
