Cabbage, Kielbasa and Potatoes

This recipe takes a classically fried dish and gives it a healthy upgrade to a less fatty version that is still gluten free.

Ingredients

1 onion, roughly diced

1 head of cabbage, roughly diced

1 tsp Garlic powder, or more to taste

1 tsp Onion powder, or more to taste

1 tsp Black Pepper, or more to taste

1/4 cup chicken stock

2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Kielbasa, sliced

1 15 ounce can of diced potatoes, drained

Tools

Casserole dish, a deep one with a lid, if you have one, or cover with aluminum foil

Spoon for stirring and serving

Knife and cutting board for chopping onion, cabbage and kielbasa

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

To the casserole dish, add the onion, cabbage, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, chicken stock and Apple Cider Vinegar.

Stir, cover and put in the oven for 30-40 minutes, until the cabbage gets soft.

Take out of the oven, uncover and stir in the kielbasa and potatoes.

Cover again and cook for 20-30 minutes more.

Serve and enjoy!
